So,
I will admit, I have and still can be found on some connection sites, such as myspace, facebook, or my favorite, downelink. However, I have noticed lately a little trend that not only pesters me, but vexes me as well.
I was looking at a person’s profile, and I was reading his about me section, because its always nice to read a nice, thought-processed, about me section before talking to the person and randomly starting conversation. The one thing that caught my eye was the sentence, “I am into straight acting males…”. This isnt the first time I have seen this. This trend of trying to get a straight boy to court you in hours and hours of love, lavish, and long relationships, is so late. Im seriously not understand how people think that it is sexy or cute?
Lets break it down.
I have many straight friends that acknowledge the fact that I am gay male, and the definition of being gay is liking members of the same sex, and they are happy with that. I have even had a discussion with my closer straight friends about this in which the questionable topic was “Why do you like the sex that you do?” My answer, I blamed on genetics. However, when I asked my straight male friends, they replied because of also genetics, but to get even more specific, they elaborated and said that they love the feminity and softness of a girl (thus the boob action). I asked, what if a bodybuilder woman were to offer sex to you, I asked, and one friend’s reply was “I couldnt do that, that would be too close to having sex with a man. I cant have a woman whos buffer than me”.
Dont think I havent forgotten about the woman’s side. I asked one of my straight women friends, why do you like men, and she also claimed the genetic belief, and also gave an elaboration. She claims that she didnt care how “manly” a man got, as long as he showed respect for her, cared for her, and maybe even a little nookie now and then, but as far as having a football playing, roughneck, meathead that only had sex on the brain, and would probably cheat on me within a week, shed rather save that for some blonde, pre-teen with her hormones on her sleeve and a pack of trojans in her mini skirt. She also said, “I wouldnt give a fuck if my man cried during a chick flick, I think thats sexy as hell, as long as I’m the only one hes crying on, no offense Lucas, You know what I mean.”
My opinion, came into the discussion after both sides gave their story. I fully agreed with both sides, that in terms of gay people, its better to be feminine or a little more butch, because somebody’s gotta wear the pants in the relationship, and the other has to have a little sprinkle-sprinkle, razzle dazzle in thier pocketbook. However in terms of somebody actin like they’re straight, and putting on an allure that says they still bangin the cooch, but at 1 in the morning, they’re bangin some random fairy parked outside of Faces. No. Thats not cute. Being straight means that you like the OPPOSITE sex, and showing it as well at all times, and not when you’re in front of the public (who could give a damn about your life), friends, or family. I can understand if you’re a closet case and you’re dealing with your own issues, but dont drag somebody else into the mix just because you need a little lovin. Like my mother always told me, fix your house before you can go tend somebody elses house, and if you’re gonna knock on my door, make sure you know who you are, and where you’re going, cuz I dont need anyone droppin garbage at my house, cuz I like taking out the trash.
Speaking of talks of genetics… I have had friends who have said, “I bet I can make a straight man gay…”. If you think you’re that bold of a person, you’re sadly in denial, and you might just be that much more of a skank than what your friends already think. THAT CANNOT HAPPEN. Get that out of your mind right now. No one can say one day, “I think I will go suck some dick today.”, and then the next “I think I shall eat some pussy.”. No. Wrong again. Quite simple; You’re either born gay, or born straight. There isnt a middle ground. Actually, I take that back…its just called being a skanky-ass whore (*Ahem* Tila Tequila). Being a bisexual is just a person’s way to say that they dont know who they are and how to let go of the “straight allure”. Real straight men or women, dont sleep with the same sex consistenly and still call themselves straight.
It is 2009. It is not the time for bullshit within yourself, and with other people. If you’re straight, then you’re straight. Cool. Go find a straight chick. If you’re gay, you’re gay. Accept it. Dont lie to yourself and other people. The most common form of this is the “bisexual” allure. There is no such thing as being bisexual, or straight acting, but there is a such thing as being yourself, and whatever that may be it is all you can be. You know what you’re doing, and you know if its right or wrong. Only you can make yourself do anything because it is you. Unless of course, you got a bomb threat, in which you just might want to borrow a cellphone and dial that good ol’ 911 one quick time.
